Amelia Barker-King, Agent

Having grown up in the greater Kalamazoo area, Amelia Barker-King has been a lifelong resident of this wonderful community.  After graduating from Mattawan High School summa cum laude and President of her class, Amelia attended Kalamazoo College where she played softball and majored in biology.  

She offers a young perspective on aspects of Kalamazoo, enthusiastic energy, as well as polished data analysis skills. As an essential part of The Barton Group team, she loves helping clients achieve their real estate goals.  She enjoys working with real estate investors, business owners, and property owners to fulfill their specific needs.  Having lived in Ecuador for six months, she has familiarity with the Spanish language.  With great tutoring from the owner of The Barton Group, she has completed several transactions in her real estate career, gaining useful experience and expertise with every one.  Amelia is involved with Kalamazoo Jaycees, Great Expectations Chapter of BNI in Kalamazoo as event coordinator, Mattawan Business Association, and Kalamazoo Network.  

Outside of business, Amelia enjoys playing and coaching softball as well as exercising and playing other sports. Many evenings you can find her teaching softball at Worden’s Softball Academy. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog which she adopted from the SPCA.
