Lori noted that she would send a member wide email to see if other members were interested in attending.

Old Business
¨       Bricks – Lori showed the MBA the sample brick that Midwest Engraving had sent. She also produced a sheet with sample brick colors. Discussion ensued with Tom Anthony, Village DPW Superintendent. Issues such as layout and brick sizes were discussed. It was decided to put in an order once or twice a year. Lori also noted that Kristine is talking with Johnson Poured Walls about a flagpole and their offer to help. The engraving company can add logos to bricks for an additional fee of $85; flags cost an additional $25; their standard emblems cost an additional $6 and 5 characters need to be removed to make room for the emblem. The board decided that bricks would be purchased for contributors to the stage and those that helped with its construction. Any logo costs would be paid by the business owner. Lesley made a motion supported by Dawn to use 4” x 8” bricks in Mahogany and the 8” x 8” bricks in Cinnamon but to also discuss color choices with the Brick Company to ensure that they compliment each other well. MSC
¨       Stage Landscaping – Lori noted that the landscaping work had been completed by Kristine Kounelis and Denise Rowekamp and that Denise had donated the Hostas and Day Lillies. Lesley noted that she liked the layout and design and that the box looked much nicer than she had expected.
¨       PA System Update – The PA system has been ordered and will arrive on Friday, July 8th. This will ensure plenty of time to learn how to use the system prior to the festival. Lori ordered it with her personal credit card before the meeting as the wireless mic inclusion ended on June 30th, otherwise the mics would be an additional $200. Lori was reimbursed for the cost of the equipment. The board discussed members using the system and it was noted that a $50 deposit would be needed when signing out the system. If the system comes back without damage the deposit would be refunded.
