VILLAGE PARK STAGE COMPLETION
The Mattawan Village Council has expressed concern about the stage in the Village park. The MBA has spearheaded the fundraising and construction of the structure, giving authority to Dick Roberts to design, purchase materials, and oversee construction. Since the process began over a year ago, it remains unfinished. The Village has requested that the structure be completed by October 1, 2004. Several members expressed support and appreciation for Mr. Roberts work on the stage, but were concerned about meeting the deadline. After much discussion, Ms. Kounelis volunteered to contact Mr. Roberts to inform him of the deadline, and ask him to complete the structure in a timely manner. Once completed, the MBA would like to landscape around the stage with the remainder of the funds.

NEW BUSINESS
The Mattawan Community Guide is available to advertise empty store fronts and business space in the village.
